{ Travel } Napa Valley Nutshell

Hello beautiful readers!

Here are some highlights from our getaway to Napa Valley a few weekends ago. In case you haven't noticed, I'm obsessed with fall. The colors of the grape vines were so beautiful it made it difficult to leave. I promise this will be the end of red and gold trees as they are mostly bare now.

These were a few sights that awaited us upon our arrival to Yountville where we had lunch at Redd, mentioned in a previous post.

Gold Vines

I'm still trying to get accustomed to this layering thing. In Florida it was either hot or cold and easy to dress appropriately. Northern California is a different story. The temperature can change by 10 degrees depending on whether the sun is behind a cloud or fully exposed. I'm slowly getting there and trying to view my closet with a different set of eyes.

On our last day in Napa, we boarded the Napa Valley Wine Train which takes you on a relaxing journey through many well-known wineries and towns between Napa and Calistoga.

One of the many cars on the wine train. The interior of each car has been refurbished with beautiful mahogany wood. It's almost like stepping back in time when aboard.
