{Wear} A Nod To The Southern Hemisphere

Happy Hump Day, readers!

This much closer to the weekend, I can smell it. It smells like the beach and lots of QT with the in-laws.

There are a few bloggers that I follow that live in the southern hemisphere and are now experiencing fall. It is one of my favorite seasons because of the wonderful layering opportunities and the wide array of shoe choices. Living in Florida, we have about 9 months with varying degrees of "sweating my butt off" and 3 months of "this is winter?". I offered to swap homes for 6 months during the fall and winter months so I can enjoy fall and winter all year long!

I didn't actually wear this out of the house since it's topping out around 90 degrees here. I played dress-up over the weekend as an homage to the southern hemisphere (SoHem) blogging fashionistas that I follow.

Hello!! I'm from the s.h! Fall and winter are definitely not my cup of tea. I actually prefer non layering. I look quite daggy when layer on the clothing. I should really take cues from you. You've nailed the layering technique!

I love those pants! I have them, too, but I'm thinking they look better on you. And you can move to Oregon if you'd like some more cool weather and rain!? ; ) We have some lovely, but manageable, summers too.

I recall that you were a bit worried about how to style the Sweater. I love how you toughened up the sparkles with Anthro's Lengthy Days Vest. The cool thing I like about the vest is you can take the cloth belt out and replace with any other belt. Although I read not all the belts were removeable. It's too bad the hot weather put a damper on wearing it out and about.

ha interesting!! i would actually swap to have spring and summer all year :P but then again i live in the UK so i can only rarely experience the type of heat you guys might have in Florida..
