Destroying A Knit

Hi readers and happy almost weekend!

I've been so tired this week that I've been going to bed early. Tonight will be no exception.

Today's outfit was actually what I wore yesterday. I've just recently started wearing my brooches again, but the brooch/cardigan pairing may not have been such a good idea. I almost destroyed the sleeve of my cardigan with my brooch! Note to self, don't wear a heavy, sharp brooch with a delicate knit.

Cardigan: J. Crew
Tank: The Limited
Skirt: Anthropologie Easy Keeper skirt
Shoes: Cole Haan G-Series
Brooch: Express circa 2004

Phew- thank goodness you didn't damage your cardi with the brooch. Also, be careful of broken fingernails on delicate clothing - it happens to me all the time.
Very nice outfit! the brooch adds just the right amount of accessory!
It's my first time commenting on your blog, and I just wanted to say I love your style. The last lime you wore the Easy Keeper skirt you paired it with a white blouse by Odille- I fell in love with that blouse and I just had to have it. I was so lucky to find it in my size on ebay!!!

You look so put together and the cardigan gives your outfit a little pop color. Stunning!
Hey, I love your skirt. It looks vaguely famililar ...:) Speaking about damaging delicate articles of clothing, I have a pair of boots that have a buckle on the top portion and anytime I cross my legs with tights on, they either get stuck on the buckle or they tear. Thank goodness your cardigan was safe.

Complex Cardigans
i want that skirt Kimmie, so cute!
I hate when brooches sag too. I think putting something like felt or another sturdy fabric underneath the area where you want to put the brooch might help keep it from sagging. It's a lovely brooch. I remember when EXPRESS sold quality jewelry.
love the colour of the cardigan and the skirt.xx
